Earth, Wind, And Fire, And Dust

It hasn't rained in Ecuador for a bit so now there are tons of outages which makes things real interesting. Shout out the September b-days especially the Madre on the 28th. On the 21st we were singing Earth Wind and Fire “September”, an important musical day to commemorate disco. Shout out to T-Church for that Mr&Ms "September" performance, never will forget that one.

This was an interesting week no doubt. Once again we were put in a trio and split our time in half so we had to be super efficient and diligent with our time. Not running but really speed walking everywhere the whole time we were out of the house. I'm loving the Spanish right now, may even be able to answer questions of the soul. Facílito. In the trio with Elder Lopez and Anderson we try to meg each other with rocks while we walk on the dirt roads. There are an abundance of rocks these days to play with because they are breaking up all the roads and repairing the sewers. It smells fresh, real fresh. It is actually really fun to jump across and contact somebody on the other side of the sewer.

We have been teaching two kids named Matiss and Cheryl who got baptized this Sunday. They had been going to church for weeks and their grandpa told us they needed to get baptized pronto. Another family was made a little more eternal. They are super cool. Before lessons they would tell us to wait and bring friends over to listen too.

Something super awesome is that everyone here has a testimony of Jesus Christ and many have one of baptism. We have had many a lesson this last week about the Poder and Autoridad of the sacerdocio (priesthood) and how important that is for baptism. We had one lesson with a family of 6 about the restoration and it was spirit felt especially when we talked about that. I have a strong testimony of the priesthood and how real it is in our lives. Without that authority and power in a baptism we cannot have the atonement affect our lives the way we want. I love the work. It's tough but grind gon be a grind. Tae bout a bag, so am I. La flame of the world. Selah!

In case I don't see you, Buenas Tardes, Buenas Noches, y Buenas Noches,
