¡Positivo!
Interviews, preparations and aprendation. One friend, Orlando, we keep coming across only really says one word: Positivo. You could ask “Como esta?,” receive a "Positivo" and then ask "Have you been doing something bad?" and he'll say “Positivo” and then process the question and switch to “Negativo!” But it is really fun to find him in the streets because he is always Positive. Now us four Elders can't stop saying "Positivo" for all of our answers too.
Another one of our friends, Anderson, who is 20 never ceases to amaze us. Not in the way that he does anything crazy, but he just seems to be everywhere. I remember one day we walked to a lesson and he joined in. It wasn't that far from his house so it was normal. Later that day, we are on the opposite side of Sibimbe and what do you know, Anderson is just walking along out of the endless banana trees singing gibberish and joins in the lesson for another 5 minutes and walks off. Third time we are on the opposite side of where we were and only 30 minutes have passed. Anderson apparently started a company within those 30 minutes and has a cart he goes and washes motors with now. He decides to stop working and listen in for 10 minutes then just leaves the cart and walks off again. Night time is here and Anderson is here too. No idea where he finds a bike, he's just going through the streets on a small bike with a random girl singing his gibberish again. All on opposite sides of Sibimbe which isn't a tiny place. Somehow he is being taught just poco poco. I need an Anderson tracker cause he spawns all over the place.
We watched an Elder Bednar talk that he gave in South America about Agency and the Atonement. He explained that the Atonement gives us power alongside an irreplaceable remission of our sins through baptism. This power fills us in all ways. We've only been watching Bednar because he is coming to town very soon. Only through the Sacrifice and Atonement of Jesus Christ can I do hard things. When we choose to involve the Savior in every detail of our lives, there is just not a way we don't succeed. Use the power of the Atonement and be successful.
In case I don't see you, Buenas Tardes, Buenas Noches, y Buenas Noches,
